An ex-Al Ahly star has made massive admissions about South African's Percy Tau and Pitso Mosimane following the club's shock 5-2 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns this past weekend.

Ahly's aspirations to make it out of their CAF Champions League group were dented when they were handed one of their biggest defeats in the competition's history in Tshwane on Saturday.
While Marcel Koller's men had an abysmal showing at Loftus Versfeld, three-time African Cup of Nations winner Wael Gomaa did laud Percy Tau for his impact on the game.
"We were expecting a better reaction from the players after conceding," the 117-time capped Egyptian told beIN Sports.
"This is the first time I watched Al Ahly losing a game and just wished the referee would blow his whistle to end the game before full-time.
"There are no excuses for such a result. Everyone at this club should be held accountable. There is no fight, no spirit. The only one fighting for the ball was Percy Tau. But there are so many mistakes and the board did not back the manager with enough signings.
"There are players who play every week at this club and don't deserve their spot because there's no competition in this team. I was once the best defender in Africa and I was always afraid of sitting on the bench for the next game."

The 47-year-old also claimed that people should not be so quick to sound for the return of Pitso Mosimane to the club in light of the result.
"People will bring back the discussion about Mosimane," Gomaa added.
"I am only talking about football here, but there are other things about him that are beyond the technical aspects of the game and I don't want to talk about them."
