Just over a year has passed since Kaizer Chiefs starlet Wiseman Meyiwa suffered a devastating career-ending injury. However, he had social media buzzing when he showed his incredible recovery process.
The 20-year-old was involved in a serious car accident in November 2018, and was forced into retirement after sustaining vertebrae and spinal cord damage – meaning he would sadly never walk onto a football field again.

Tough as nails during his playing days, Meyiwa took to social media to share his steady progress with his supporters as well as a motivational message.
Seen putting in the work on a training cycle along with the caption "Don't let the social media rush you. No one is posting their failures."
Fans were left ecstatic by Meyiwa's update, wishing him well in his road to recovery.
