Cristiano Ronaldo is a player who is used to making the headlines, and he recently grabbed the football world's attention once again, this time for his apparent goatee. Did you see it?
Lining up in the tunnel for Portugal's match against Morocco, fans on social media were quick to point out that "CR7" had an extra facial feature, namely the hair on his chin.
In a post-match interview, Ronaldo explained his new facial hair by saying: "This goatee? It's a joke I had with (Ricardo) Quaresma.
"We were in the sauna (on Thursday, before Friday's match against Spain), and I started to shave and I left the goatee.
"I said if I score tomorrow, I would leave it for the rest of the tournament. And it gave me luck, I scored that game, I scored this one, so it stays."
