Pep Guardiola s Best Ever XI

Pep Guardiola s Best Ever XI

Guardiola has only managed at two clubs in his career so far, but has had some wonderful players at his disposal already. The Fan Park Crew decided to pick Pep's best ever eleven.

We picked the side in a 4-3-3 formation:

Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer

Currently the best goalkeeper on the planet, the World Cup winner was recently nominated for the Ballon D'Or trophy.

Right-Back: Philip Lahm

The German World Cup winner has been one of the best right-backs in the world for years now.

Centre-Back: Carles Puyol

One of the most commanding centre-backs of his time and he was heavily trusted by Guardiola, especially when times were tough.

Centre-Back: Eric Abidal

The cancer survivor played a big part in Pep's Barca side through the years and formed a mean partnership with Puyol.

Left-Back: David Alaba

The 22-year-old has won numerous trophies for Bayern Munich and has been one of Guardiola's most consistent performers

Centre-Midfield: Bastian Schweinsteiger

The World Cup winner has been the rock of Guardiola's midfield at Bayern Munich and is not afraid to do the dirty work for his manager.

Centre- Midfield: Andres Iniesta

Iniesta formed part of Barcelona's incredible midfield that helped crafted tiki-taka football.

Centre-Midfield: Xavi

Xavi and Iniesta ran the show for Pep when he was at Barcelona, It's almost safe to say Xavi was the club's engine.

Left Wing:  Arjen Robben

Pep's most influential forward at Bayern Munich has been Arjen Robben, not only is he quick, but he is also deadly in front of goal.

Right Wing: Franck Ribery

The French winger has been terrific for Bayern Munich for a few seasons now, but along with Robben he has formed part of Pep's deadly trio at Bayern.

Striker: Lionel Messi

We could honestly not pick anyone else for this position and I think we all know why! Pep helped turn Messi into one of the greatest players that the world has ever seen, and also shared many trophies with him.

What do you make of Pep's XI?
