Simply known as Shoes to local football enthusiasts, Moshoeu was a crowd favourite in every sense of the word. While he entertained supporters, the Bafana Bafana legend was also a crucial figure for both the national team and Kaizer Chiefs.
The 1996 Africa Cup of Nations hero also spent a large chunk of his career playing abroad, flying the SA flag high for clubs such as Genclerbirligi and Fenerbahce in Turkey.
