The story

Mamelodi Sundowns announced on Friday that they're joining forces with Huawei, bringing an esteemed tech company to their sponsorship roster.

As the Official Mobile Partner, Huawei Consumer Business Group South Africa has committed to delivering groundbreaking innovations that will elevate the club's performance, both on and off the field.

Ballers such as Themba Zwane, Mothobi Mvala, Kegan Johannes and Tashreeq Matthews represented the players in launching the partnership, with Huawei SA's CEO Peter Feng also present. 

"Partnering with Mamelodi Sundowns FC is an exciting milestone for Huawei. Their legacy of success and relentless pursuit of greatness perfectly aligns with our vision for innovation and excellence," said Feng, who was quoted by Sundowns' press release shared on Friday morning.

Downs chairman, Thlopie Motsepe added, "Great teams and great innovators thrive on pushing limits. We are thrilled to have Huawei partner with us in this journey of technology and sport- and we look forward to making a lasting impact together."

The statement shared by the club also what this partnership underscores for them:
