The winger made the move to the North African giants from Sekhukhune United at the start of the campaign and, while he perhaps endured a tricky start to life in the Tunisian capital, he is now one of their main players.
The 25-year-old will now be returning to South Africa for the first time in club football since signing for the Blood and Gold, and he looks to help his side eliminate Ka Bo Yellow for a second successive season.
So far in Ligue Professionnelle 1 and the Champions League, he has scored five goals and provided four assists.
Speaking ahead of their first-leg quarter-final clash against the South African champions, Esperance head coach Maher Kanzari was quizzed on the quality that the 10-capped international possesses, and he claimed that what he has done at club and international level speaks for itself.
"He's a quality player, no doubt about it. If he's playing for Bafana Bafana and a team like Esperance, it means he's a really good player," the 52-year-old told members of the media in his pre-match press conference.
"He was struggling a little bit in the beginning, the first two, three, month – but now he's adapated himself and he has a lot of potential and he's growing.
