Richards Bay have confirmed that their latest FIFA transfer ban has been overturned, allowing them to register players in the next window period.
The club had been banned for an issue relating to Tanzanian defender Abdi Banda, which is not the first one they have had to deal with since making a move up to topflight football.

Banda made just eight appearances in all competitions for the Natal Rich Boyz last season before leaving the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
Banda, who is playing his football in Tanzania at the moment, himself has previously taken Chippa United to FIFA for monies owed to him, leading the club to face a transfer ban of their own.
"Richards Bay Football Club would like to confirm that the matter between the club and FIFA regarding the registration ban has been lifted. The club is now free to sign any player that is available."

This will give the Natal Rich Boyz an opportunity to bolster their squad for next season, especially if they survive relegation. The cash injection the club received at the start of the season will give them an opportunity to bring in more players who can help them to be competitive.
