The Siya crew has been led to believe that SuperSport United will be looking at coaching options with the possibility of letting go of head coach Gavin Hunt at the end of the season.
Hunt, who recently celebrated 1000 matches, signed a new two-year deal at Matsatsantsa before the start of this season, but it has been a poor campaign for the club. They slumped to their 10th defeat of the season on Tuesday even against rookies Magesi FC, leaving them in 13th place and in a relegation battle.

As things stand, Matsatsantsa are just two points ahead of 15th placed Marumo Gallants and could drop a spot down the standings if the Free State based side beat Sekhukhune United this evening.
The Siya crew understands that management is not pleased with the results of the club this season and while they have sold stars to rivals, there is a feeling within the corridors that they should be in a much better position. It's believed that SuperSport are considering the possibility of bringing in a new coach to take over, with results currently not improving.
The club has scored 12 goals in 21 matches. This is just two more goals than bottom of the table Royal AM, who have played 11 matches.

SuperSport were knocked out in the first round of both the MTN8 and Carling Knockout and succumbed in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup to Orlando Pirates. That has also been a concern for the club, as they have gone a long period without a trophy in the cabinet.
There's about two months left in the season and the Siya crew understands that there would need to be a big turnaround for the coach to hold onto his job.
With just one league victory in 2025, pressure will keep mounting on the coach.
