The story
On Monday, Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed the signing of Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba for the remainder of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season.
The club has been strengthening its squad in pursuit of an eighth consecutive league title and the CAF Champions League, while also preparing for the 2025 FIFA World Cup.
Mothiba joins Sundowns as a free agent, having parted ways with French Ligue 1 club RSC Strasbourg at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
The 29-year-old will aim to score goals for Sundowns and make his return to the Bafana Bafana squad under Hugo Broos after a lengthy absence caused by injury.
Mothiba will not only bolster Sundowns' attack with goals and assists, he also brings plenty of glamour off the pitch. The French-speaking baller is already one of the club's best dressed stars.
In the past, Mothiba has been seen rocking expensive items from brand such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton and European footballer's favourite, BALR.
