Mothiba will play professional South African football for the first time in his career after officially signing for Masandawana. The 28-year-old moves to Chloorkop after spending a decade honing his skills in top-level French football. The Johannesburg native has played for major Ligue 1 sides, but the club where he enjoyed his most prolonged tenure was Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, or RC Strasbourg.

This is the outfit where he played with one teammate more than any other in his career—Matz Sels. The duo shared the pitch 96 times during their time at Strasbourg. While Mothiba is now with Sundowns, the Belgian shot-stopper is in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, where he is enjoying a wonderful campaign. The 33-year-old currently has the most clean sheets in the English top flight (11).
