Cape Town City went head-to-head with their rugby counterparts, the DHL Stormers, in an Amazing Race-style challenge to highlight the best of the Mother City.

The story
Betway Premiership outfit, Cape Town City were put to the test in a competition that tasked them to navigate their city better than 2022 United Rugby Championship winners, The DHL Stormers.
Working alongside the City of Cape Town, Muhsin Ertugral and The Stormers exposed some hidden gems and navigated the 021's landmarks through exciting tasks and a thrilling race to finish.
Both sets of players had to complete ten different challenges; a rowing relay on the Battery Park Canal, deciphering a code from the Zeitz MOCAA gallery, finding an artist who painted a rhino sculpture, as well as race to take a team photo on the yellow frame.
They also had to send messages using flags from the Cape Wheel, while their teammates tried to decipher the meaning. There was a painting challenge to test their creative skills and a bit of golf with a putting challenge.
City were led by veteran goalkeeper Darren Keet, with Thabo Nodada, Lorenzo Gordinho, Jaedin Rhodes and Darwin Gonzalez also representing the men in navy blue.
