The famed sports agency has officially signed the young attacker as part of their renowned roster of clientele. The teenage sensation has been making waves on the domestic scene, and a few months ago, these performances led to him heading to Chelsea to train with their youth sides.
Witbooi's performances in London, combined with him now partnering with representation of Roc Nation's stature is likely to increase his chances of playing on the biggest stage. The organisation believes they have a player with a great future ahead of him.
"When we look at scouting players, we looking for two things: players who are performing to a high level but also have a high ceiling," Global Director of Recruitment at Roc Nation Sports, Nathan Campbell, revealed at a event in Cape Town.
"It's about can you see that the player at 16 will not be at 20, 21. Is there more room to grow, or are they hitting their head against the ceiling?
"So when we looking at players, we always looking at that and the other elements of technical and tactical which, again, I think Emile has.
"You would have watched Emile, and his ability to manipulate the ball, pick it up in pockets of space and play in between the lines is incredible.
