The story
The former TS Galaxy head coach stunned many in the African football fraternity by parting ways with Young Africans (Yanga) following a mutual agreement.
He is said to have signed a two-and-a-half-year contract to take over as head coach of Algerian outfit, CR Belouizdad, where he's set to be unveiled this week
Ramovic spent less than three months at Yanga, having joined the Tanzanian top-flight defending champions in mid-November 2024 and winning December's Coach of the Month award.

On Tuesday, the club announced the departure of the 45-year-old coach, along with his assistant, Mustafa Kodro. Not long after the confirmation of his departure, Ramovic poured his heart out in a touching Instagram post.
Ramovic expressed gratitude to the club's president, Hersi Ally Said, for affording him an opportunity to coach the outfit and posted a series of pictures, showing him interacting with his former players and supporters.
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to the president for the trust, support, and incredible opportunity to be part of this great club," wrote the former Rockets boss.
"His vision and leadership have made my journey here truly special, and I will always be thankful for that. To the players, staff, and supporters — thank you for your passion, commitment, and belief."
It was a short stint but memorable stint in Tanzania for Ramovic, where he lost his first two games in the CAF Champions League before going on an unbeaten run of nine games, winning seven.
In the league, he won all of his six games in charge to keep Yanga in the title race with Fadlu Davids' high-flying Simba SC.
"My time at Young Africans has been one of the most beautiful and enriching experiences of my life. This club has a bright future, and I have no doubt that it will continue to achieve great things. Keep pushing, keep believing, and keep making history. Asante sana, and all the best!" concluded Ramovic.
