The story
Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana attacking midfielder, Patrick "Tito" Maswanganyi is officially part of the PUMA family, joining a host of South Africa's elite ballers who are back by the Global sportswear brand.
Despite having a more difficult season this time around, contributing with just two goals and one assist in 22 appearances for Ezimnyama Ngenkani, Tito is still an influential baller for both club and country.
Maswanganyi surprised many with his IG post on Thursday, where he shared a series of snaps wearing the new PUMA Ultra 5 boots, captioning the post with, "Felt cute, might go even faster @pumafootball."
The 26-year-old was previously with adidas, donning their iconic Copa line during his impressive first season at the Buccaneers.
Tito joins Pirates and Bafana Bafana teammates, Zakhele Lepasa, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Themba Zwane, Thapelo Morena, Khanyisa Mayo and Teboho Mokoena among others as a PUMA athlete.
The Stars of Africa Academy alumni is not the only player from the Soweto giants who has made the switch to PUMA.
Kaizer Chiefs' Angolan defender, Inacio Miguel also revealed that he's part of the PUMA gang and posting a gallery of him showcasing the brand's latest FUTURE boots on Thursday.
