Tanzania international Feisal Salum has been in demand from Africa's biggest clubs following his brilliant 2023/24 campaign with Azam FC.
The attacking midfielder found the back of the net 21 times in all competitions as he helped his club finish in second position behind runaway champions Young Africans.
This season, the 26-year-old has continued his rich vein of form for Wana Lambalamba, already scoring four goals and providing nine assists. It is these performances that have reignited the interest of major clubs across the continent, such as Amakhosi.
The South African outfit have been rumoured suitors of Salum and could be poised to make a move for the Zanzibari as soon as this transfer window, with the playmaker believed to have only 18 months remaining on his existing deal.
Azam FC are, however, seemingly reluctant to let their talisman leave in the middle of the season and, according to Soka25east, the club want to keep him for even longer, having offered him a substantial contract extension.
African football journalist Collins Okinyo claims that the East African outfit have tabled a two-year extension, which includes a $320,000 (R6 million) signing bonus and a salary of $120,000 (R2.2 million).
