Sundowns finished the game nine players after Bathusi Aubaas and Khuliso Mudau were sent off, while Raja had Maroune Zila late in the second half.
Sadek gave the players credit for pressuring the Brazilians into making errors on the night.
"The role of the fans was strong and decisive. We have always said that Raja lacks a lot without its fans, so we are grateful to them," Sadek said after the game, as per Kooora.
"Winning in this manner against a competitor experienced in the African football atmosphere brings us back to the forefront and puts us in the heart of the competition again.
"The most important victory has been achieved, and we have won one of the three finals on our way to qualifying.
"We have two very difficult matches, winning them means reaching the next round. The spirit and confidence have returned again and we must invest in this fact so that we do not return to square one."
The Moroccan outfit now sit third in Group B, one point behind second-place Sundowns and four adrift of group leaders AS FAR Rabat.
