Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Casablanca managed to bounce back on Saturday evening, with Cassius Mailula playing a big role in the victory.
It was a long week for the Red Castle, who were humiliated last weekend after losing 4-1 to Maghreb Fez.
Club president Hicham Ait Mena and Mokwena held a meeting after the game to go over a few things, including transfers and the coach's future.
However, Wydad returned to winning ways on Saturday night thanks to a 2-1 triumph over Moghreb Tetouan.

Mohamed Rayhi was the hero on the night as he contributed with two goals in the first half, which was enough to secure the victory.
South African striker Mailula also played his part by picking up the assist for Rayhi's second goal.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward has only scored one league goal, but he has contributed with five assists in his last five appearances.
