After Relebohile Mofokeng was linked with Barcelona B, a former South African triallist at La Masia has given the Orlando Pirates star advice.
Soccer Laduma broke the story during the week that Barcelona B side are making enquiries and have shown keen interest in Mofokeng.
Various Spanish publications subsequently reported that the 20-year-old has caught the attention of the Blaugrana reserve side.
The Vaal-born midfielder has been consistent in his game since he was promoted to the first team in the 2022/23 season and is highly rated in the country.

However, former Ajax Cape Town star Mkhanyiseli Siwahla believes it would be too much of a jump for Mofokeng, to go from the PSL to Barcelona.
"He's good but let's not put these boys in a way that they can't greet us you know. He's a top quality player, I know, but let's not go... That ceiling is hectic," Siwahla said on TimesLive Video YouTube Channel.
"It's very hectic, believe me, things are different. I'm not saying he cannot play there but I'm saying let him start small, Belgium, and see what's going to happen.
"That's how the likes of Mane [started], you need to start somewhere and [you can] go [straight] there," Siwahla added.

Siwahla, who holds the record of the youngest debutant and goalscorer in the PSL at 15, went through trials at Barca's famed La Masia, where he trained and played with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique for two weeks, shortly before his first official game for Cape Town Spurs (formerly Ajax Cape Town).
Mofokeng has already been on trials at English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers at the beginning of last season but no deal materialized.
The Sharpeville native was linked with clubs such Scottish Rangers and Levante last season but nothing concrete came out of it.
