If there is someone who knows all about playing in the English Championship, it's former Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi, who believes right back Khuliso Mudau has what it takes to make it there.
Mudau, 29, is understood to have attracted attention in the Championship and it's come from Lucas Radebe's former club, Leeds United, as reported by the Siya crew. The former Black Leopards player has previously been linked with a move to Burnley.

Dikgacoi played for Crystal Palace and Cardiff in the Championship. It's at Palace where he had the most success, featuring in the side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2012/13.
"Guys like Teboho (Mokoena), Mudau are doing well. There's no doubt they can play (in England). Rele (Mofokeng) is doing well at Pirates and he can do well. It's just up to the player if he wants to be at that level or not," Dikgacoi said to the Siya crew.
"Khuliso would certainly do well. He can excel. He produces those qualities defensively and offensively that teams are looking for. Offensively, he will give you something. Defensively, one-on-ones, he is good. He is a complete player in my opinion."
Dikgacoi first made a move to the Premier League in 2009/10, becoming a rare gem in moving straight to the top flight of English football from the PSL. It's something that happens once in a blue moon. Percy Tau moved from Mamelodi Sundowns to Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League in 2018, but was unable to immediately secure a work permit due to Bafana Bafana's low ranking at the time, which meant he had to be loaned out.
At the moment, the only South African player in England is Lyle Foster, which is a concern, considering the country previously had the likes of Lucas Radebe, the late Phil Masinga, Shaun Bartlett, Mark Fish, Benni McCarthy, Aaron Mokoena and Steven Pienaar playing there. It seems more players are happy to stay in the PSL and not pursue careers in top European leagues these days.

"Sometimes it depends on how much a player really wants it. Does he really want to be there? That's the only question one can pose to someone. If you want to be there, you know what to do. You need to keep working hard and improve if you have to improve," Dikgacoi said.
