Rulani Mokwena is currently the head coach of Wydad Athletic Club, Morocco's most successful club in terms of league honours, with 22 titles to their name.
When Mokwena was appointed, one of his mandates would presumably have been to contest for the Botola Pro title once again, with the club last winning it during the 2021/22 campaign under now-Atlas Lions boss Walid Regragui.
The South African tactician has endured an erratic start to life in Casablanca, with his side currently in fourth place.
The team all the top-flight sides are chasing is RS Berkane. The Orange Boys have never won a Botola Pro Inwi title, but under Moin Chaabani, they appear poised to make a serious push for the championship.
The Tunisian tactician enjoyed tremendous success in his home nation, winning five consecutive league titles with Esperance de Tunis between 2016 and 2021. He also secured back-to-back CAF Champions League titles during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns.
Chaabani is now making a strong bid for historic domestic success with his new club while aiming to add more continental silverware to Berkane's trophy cabinet.
The team opened their Confederation Cup campaign with a 2-0 win against CD Lunda Sul and will be hoping to continue their form when they face Stellenbosch at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
