Renowned South African actor Mondli Makhoba has entered into an unexpected partnership with Betway Premiership club, TS Galaxy.

The story
TS Galaxy have welcomed acclaimed actor, Mondli Makhoba known for his roles in "The Wife" and "Shaka iLembe," as their newest brand ambassador.
As per Kaya FM, the Mbombela-based club has stated that Makhoba's appointment as the team's brand ambassador represents a significant step in their mission to inspire, unite, and uplift communities through football.
"Mondli brings unparalleled passion, pride and authenticity that perfectly align with our club's values, This partnership is a game-changer and we're excited about what lies ahead." says Chairman Tim Sukazi, quoted on Kaya 95.9 FM's website.
According to his agency, Makhoba has vast acting experience in theatre productions in Australia and England. He's also featured in both local and international shows, including "Generations: The Legacy," "Isithwmbiao," "Uzalo," "Imbewu," "eHostela," "Easy Money" and "Roots."
"Why TS Galaxy? I think the boys are young and vibrant and are very hungry to do the best. We've seen them, back in 2019 when they upset Kaizer Chiefs [Nedbank Cup final], the biggest upset South Africa has ever seen," said Makhoba in his introduction video as The Rockets' new club ambassador.
Makhoba mentioned that he'll see the club's passionate fans in their next weekend's league fixture in Polokwane, away to Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
