The story
Should we even be surprised anymore? Relebohile Mofokeng is made for the big moments. Coming off the bench after the hour mark, the teenage sensation helped Ezimnyama Ngenkani get over the line in a frantic MTN8 final in Durban on Saturday.
The sold out Moses Mabhida Stadium bared witness to South African football history as the Buccaneers became the first team win three MTN8 titles in a row.
Lehlohonolo Mojela's acrobatic effort forced Jose Riveiro's troops to come from behind to claim their first trophy of the season, in a 3-1 with goals coming curtesy of Monnapule Saleng and super-subs, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Relebohile Mofokeng.
Mofokeng brought plenty of spark after replacing skipper Innocent Maela in the 62nd minute and played a role in Mabasa's contentious stoppage strike, before sealing it in with a smart finish two minutes before the final whistle.
