According to talkSPORT, Southampton are reportedly set to part ways with head coach Russell Martin, potentially during the international break.
The club is said to feel unconvinced that the 38-year-old can keep them in the Premier League after the team's difficult start to the campaign.
Southampton are currently winless in their opening six matches this term, having scored just three goals and conceded on 12 occasions.
The Saints' performances are believed to have split the Southampton board, with club owner Dragan Solak reportedly becoming increasingly worried about the team's results.
Sporting director Rasmus Ankerson, meanwhile, is still backing Martin.
The Englishman did not hold back in his criticism of his players following their 3-1 loss to Bournemouth in the league on Monday, which could be another sign his tenure might be coming to an end.

He did win promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking last season, but the Saints' concerning results have seen him come under serious pressure.
