As speculation over his future intensifies, Josef Zinnbauer has reportedly been given a final chance to redeem himself in Saudi Arabia later this week.

The former Orlando Pirates manager arrived in the Saudi Pro League after an extremely successful 2023/24 campaign, when the German tactician made history with Raja Club Athletic by going the entire season without suffering a single defeat, winning the Botola Pro Inwi title as well as the Moroccan Throne Cup.
So, when Al Wehda successfully prised him away from the Moroccan giants during the off-season, there were big expectation placed on the 54-year-old, but so far, he has failed to deliver.
The Knights of Mecca have only managed to win one of their opening five league matches of the season, losing three times.
Zinnbauer's charges are now languishing in 16th place in the log, which is a position in the relegation zone.
The ex-Lokomotiv Moscow boss is understood to now be under massive scrutiny as a consequence of the poor start to the season. and the club is said to be ready to fire him.
According to Sport7, however, before Al Wehda decide to sack the Schwandorf native, they want to give him a final chance.
On Thursday evening, the club will take on Al Feiha, who are one place above them in the league.

Should Zinnbauer lose this game, then it is likely he will be dismissed two months into his new job, but a convincing win could buy him some precious time in an effort to guide the team back up the table.
