The Citizens claimed an impressive 4-0 victory over Slovan Bratislava on the road on Tuesday night, with Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan among the goalscorers.
City's latest win in Europe's biggest club competition means they are now 25 matches unbeaten in the tournament, according to TNT Sports.
The last defeat Pep Guardiola's men suffered in the Champions League came in the 2021/22 campaign, after only losing on penalties last season.
The Manchester giants went unbeaten on their way to winning their first-ever UCL title in the 2022/23 campaign.
In going 25 matches without losing, meanwhile, City have equalled United's record that dates back to a period between 2007 and 2009 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
