Kaizer Chiefs plan to launch an aggressive search for a striker in the coming months as confirmed by the club's head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
Chiefs currently have only Ranga Chivaviro and Ashley Du Preez as out-and-out striking options, while there are a number of players like Christian Saile, Pule Mmodi and Wandile Duba who can slot into the role if need be.

Given just how thin they are in terms of options upfront, Chiefs coach Nabi has detailed how the club have been scouring the continent for a striker and will be going on a full-out pursuit of a recognized frontman to provide competition for the likes of Chivaviro and Du Preez in the January transfer window.
"Ranga scored against Sundowns and AmaZulu, but I want the level to be higher," Nabi told journalists after the 2-1 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
"Honestly, the market in Africa is very small. You have four or five good players but all the big clubs like Esperance, Al Ahly and Zamalek start a war for these players. So, the market in Africa is not positive in this moment.
"I'm not looking for someone who does not have personality or responsibility. I thought to myself, we won't play much in October. Thereafter it's November and December and the transfer window opens in January. I have three or two months to scout for the type of quality that I need.
"Thank you to the management for giving me an open budget for that, but I don't want to throw away money. That is not the role of the coach," he said.
