It has reportedly been revealed why Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of the Al Nassr squad for Monday's game despite netting twice over the weekend.
Al Nassr defeated Al-Hazem 2-0 in the King's Cup on Monday night and advanced to the round of 16.

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was nowhere to be seen after not making the matchday squad.
According to Saudi publication Al-Jazirah, coach Stefano Pioli wanted to rest the 39-year-old forward after the recent schedule.
Al Nassr do go on to win the encounter 2-1 thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Nawaf Boushal.
"Got the win in the King's Cup. Well done!," Ronaldo posted on Instagram after the win.
Ronaldo is expected to return to action on Friday night when they host Josef Zinnbauer's Al-Wehda.
Al-Wehda have last their last two league matches, including a 7-1 thrashing against Al Ittihad a couple weeks ago.
