The Spain international has taken the world by storm since breaking through at the Catalan giants last year.
Lamine Yamal, only 17, was named the Young Player of the Tournament at the 2024 UEFA European Championship after helping Spain win their first EURO trophy since 2012 following an impressive debut season in LALIGA.
This term, meanwhile, the winger has continued his eye-catching form, having already played a hand in eight goals in his opening six matches.
Former Los Blancos talisman Ronaldo believes Lamine Yamal, who scored his first UEFA Champions League goal on Thursday, has the potential to be the best of his generation.
"He's got a huge potential," he told Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel.
"I see a lot of talent. But let's see during his journey what's going to happen.
"But I think he'll make it. He will be the best player of this new generation."
Starting the competition aged 16, Lamine became the youngest player in history to play at the EUROS and was also awarded the Goal of the Tournament for his long-range effort in Spain's semi-final victory over France.
