Following his goalscoring feats last weekend, Al Ahly have reportedly come to a fresh decision regarding Percy Tau's future.

There has been a tremendous amount of conjecture regarding the Witbank native's future at the home of the record African champions.
The 30-year-old was not a regular starter for Marcel Koller towards the end of last season, and going into the final year of his current deal, it was suggested that the South African was likely to leave the Cairo International Stadium.
It is understood the Red Devils did not receive any offers they were happy with for Tau during the off-season, but it appears the Egyptian giants are now taking a new position regarding the reigning CAF Men's Interclub Player of the Year following his exploits in Kenya last weekend.
Koller surprised many when he included the former Mamelodi Sundowns star in his CAF Champions League squad for the 2024/25 season, and doubled down on that stance by giving the skilful winger a starting spot in their first-leg second preliminary round clash against Gor Mahia.
The South African repaid the faith placed in him by scoring a brace in Ahly's 3-0 win and now, according to Al Watan Sports, the Club of the Century have decided to no longer sell him.
It is understood that his contract expires at the end of this season, but whether or not they will offer him fresh terms remains to be seen.

What seems certain, however, is that Tau will play out the remainder of his existing deal with Ahly, and that any interest parties will be rebuffed, with the same report claiming that the latest offer came from Saudi First Division League side NEOM SC, although it was rejected.
