Nigeria's former manager has revealed he still has not received an apology from African superstar Victor Osimhen following the striker's online outburst in June.

Earlier this year, reports suggested that then-Super Eagles boss Finidi George had expressed annoyance at the forward for not being available for the June international break.
Osimhen missed Nigeria's matches against South Africa and Benin, reportedly due to muscle fatigue, with some publications claiming George explicitly said he would not beg any player to join the squad.
It later emerged that George, however, had not actually made any statement of the like regarding the 25-year-old, who has since left Napoli to spend the season on loan at Galatasaray in Turkey.
In what became a controversial incident, the report stating George did not take aim at Osimhen came out only after Osimhen blasted his then-manager in a social media rant, in which he insisted he had lost all respect for the former Nigeria international.
George, who represented clubs such as Real Sociedad and Ajax Amsterdam in his playing days, has since revealed that Osimhen has not issued him an apology to this day.
"Victor Osimhen did not apologise even after I reached out to him," he told NigeriaInfoFM.
"I wish everybody well. God will judge."
