As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Matsatsantsa a Pitori are in negotiations for the services of the Bafana Bafana striker, with an agreement seeming to be imminent.
Sources close to both clubs have added that the two clubs are finalizing the details for the deal to go through, and it looks promising.
"The talks have been going on between the two clubs. The only main thing remaining now is whether he should go on loan again or whether SuperSport want to sign him permanently. But whichever way it is, the talks are at an advanced stage and the signing is imminent," said the Siya source.
"You know he has been there before and SuperSport were happy with him. It's just a matter of time before everything is finalised," the source added.
A second insider discussed how SuperSport will be without experienced striker Bradley Grobler due to injury, which is why they are looking to finalize the Lepasa deal as soon as possible.
"They are in a situation where they need a striker. An experienced striker. They know it will take a while before Bradley (Grobler) can return from injury and their focus is on Zakhele (Lepasa). It's not a done deal yet but negotiations are promising and the move is very close. It could be announced any time soon," the second source stated.

A third source stated that the player wants game time so that he can bounce back to get into the Bafana Bafana squad, and he can't do that while in the shadows of Tshegofatso Mabasa and Evidence Makgopa at Pirates, who the technical team seems to prefer ahead of him at the moment.
"It's also the wish of the player himself to find a home where he will play regularly and return to the national team. So for now, that looks possible as negotiations are prompting. Nothing has been signed yet but it could happen before the transfer window closes at the end of the month. He is eager and hungry to play and that's what is motivating the move," the third source stated.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
