The Red Castle have seen a massive restructuring take place at the club since the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
For the first time in 10 years, the record Moroccan champions will not be participating in continental competition, and this coincides with a change in hierarchy at the club.
Hicham Ait Menna has assumed the role of club president, and while still interim president, he decided to appoint Rulani Mokwena as Wydad's newest head coach.
The duo have since been active in the transfer market, signing a plethora of new talent to the club in an effort to return to the summit of domestic and continental football.
While they have signed as many as 15 players so far in this window, according to Transfermarkt, none of them have been registered as a result of a FIFA transfer ban placed on the club.
According winwin, however, that is set to come to an end in the coming days as the north African giants have attained the necessary financial liquidity to have it lifted, and plan on submitting the funds to the Competition Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in the coming days.
