Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Isaac Mabotsa feels Amakhosi have done enough to replace the players they let go of at the end of last season, but there is one concern for him.
The Soweto giants parted ways with Sifiso Hlanti, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo and Keagan Dolly at the end of last season and have since gone into the market to bring in Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, Bongani Sam and Gaston Sirino, while Angolan Inacio Miguel is expected to join to solidify the backline.

Mabotsa feels the Soweto giants have brought in the right quality to replace what they let go, but wants the club to bring in a striker before the close of the transfer window period.
I feel they have done well to replace the ones that have left. A player like Dolly struggled with injury and even though age is not on Sirino's side, he is someone who can give Chiefs two seasons. He is someone who can replace Dolly. Then someone like Bongani Sam can replace Hlanti. And if I am not mistaken, they did not renew Hlanti's contract and maybe they were looking at his age. Sam is still young and he was playing for Pirates. Yes, he did not get game time, but it shows you that he is a good player," Mabotsa said to the Siya crew.

"For me, I feel that they still need to go into the market because we are lacking upfront. So far, they have done well, but they need a striker, someone who will score the goals. A striker will be important for them this season. If you check, the team is balanced, but they need someone who will give them goals."
There is a possibility that Amakhosi will lose Ashley du Preez to Europe, so going into the market to find a lethal striker will be of utmost importance before the close of the window period.
