A staff shake-up will see the Red Devils head into the 2024/25 season with fresh faces alongside Ten Hag on the sidelines.
Ex-United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has joined his compatriot as an assistant, along with former Go Ahead Eagles head coach Rene Hake, while there has also been change in the goalkeeping coaching department.
McClaren, meanwhile, is set to take charge of the Jamaica national team, and Van der Gaag is currently without a club following his departure, along with McCarthy.
Speaking recently about the alterations to his staff, Ten Hag said he believes they will allow the team to take a step forward.
"I'm very, very grateful for what he did for us. But he wants to go another way, he wants to be a head coach," he told Sky Sports about Van der Gaag's exit.
"Similar with Steve McLaren, which is good for them, but also I think for our process is good to go into the next level.
