The story
Matsatsantsa have revealed yet another sponsorship deal for the upcoming 2024/25 season, partnering with tech brand, HONOR.
HONOR is a Chinese consumer electronics company and was formerly a subsidiary of Huawei, who sold the brand back in 2020.
The announcement of this partnership comes after HONOR launched their new HONOR 200 Series collection of smartphones in Johannesburg on Tuesday, with the help of Metro FM.
HONOR has been making inroads into the South African market since 2023, collaborating with a number of local content creators and artists such as Ghost Hlubi, Okay Wasabi, Naak Musiq, DJ Tira, as well as making their presence felt at this year's Hollywoodbets Durban July.
"Global technology brand HONOR has announced a landmark partnership with SuperSport United FC, aiming to enhance the competitive edge of players and nurture the next generation of soccer stars in South Africa through state-of-the-art technology," stated SuperSport United in a brief statement on their social media pages.
