The story
Betway Premiership outfit Stellenbosch FC continues to grow in stature, as they've attracted a major local transportation brand, Intercape, to be their official bus supplier.
Stellies already have RAMA, Tsogo Sun and Le Coq Sportif as sponsors and in adding Intercape to their sponsorship roster, the club's players and staff will be traveling in style and luxury during the domestic 2024/25 season.
The club's first team and DStv Diski Challenge side will be transported to matches across the country in a range of Intercape busses, as stated in Stellies' press release regarding this deal.
"In football, where the travel schedule is incredibly demanding, it is important that Stellenbosch FC aligns itself with a partner who is able to provide safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for the team," said the club's CEO, Rob Benadie, in the press release.
"Intercape is the perfect partner to provide us with this service and we are very excited to work alongside a company that shares many of the same values as our Club," he added.
Stellenbosch get their 2024/25 campaign underway when they host TS Galaxy in the MTN8 quarter-finals at the Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday, 4 August.
