Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has provided an update on the new-look technical team ahead of the new season.
In June, as Pirates were celebrating their Nedbank Cup triumph after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns in the final, the club was also saying farewell to Sergio Almenara who had been an assistant coach in Riveiro's technical team.
While the club has had new faces in camp during the team's preparations for the upcoming season, the Buccaneers finished their pre-season tour of Spain without having officially announced additions to the technical team.

Meanwhile, Riveiro said an announcement should be expected from the club regarding the changes, while confirming that Almenara will be missed.
"We have numbers more than enough in the technical staff, even last season. We are all going to miss Sergio, because we were really used to working together. He was a very important person in our technical team, but we have talent also in the coaching staff, in our structure. There're many different recruitments in the team, but the club will announce that when it's time to do it," said Riveiro, speaking to journalists during the MTN8 launch in Auckland Park, Johannesburg on Wednesday.
