Mama Joy Jet Sets To Paris Olympic Games

The story

Mzansi's renowned sports super fan, Mama Joy, has traveled to the 2024 Paris Olympics to cheer on Team South Africa's 149 athletes competing for medals at the Summer Games.

The popular Royal AM supporter, famous for her vibrant backing of national teams in various sporting codes such as; netball, cricket and rugby, departed for Paris on a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday night.

Until now, she had been following the Paris Olympics from home, after new Sports, Arts Culture Minister, Gayton McKenzie put an end to superfans travelling on the government/taxpayers dime.

The excited Mama Joy took to both her Instagram and Twitter/X accounts to share videos of her at the airport ahead of her trip to Paris, where she will likely be visiting her significant other who is from France.
