According to Spanish journalist Carlos Carpio, who was speaking on Radio Marca, 25-year-old goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is looking to move on from the club ahead of the coming campaign.
The Ukraine international enjoyed an impressive 2023/24 campaign as he helped the side to the LALIGA title and a place in the UEFA Champions League final, which he was dropped for.
Deputising for a then-injured Thibaut Courtois, Lunin provided more than just good cover for his experienced colleague as his inspired performances, particularly in a penalty shootout victory over Manchester City, earned him widespread praise and recognition.
The report claims, in fact, that Pep Guardiola's City are among the clubs keeping tabs on his situation, with Arsenal also reportedly interested in the shot-stopper.
Lunin is said to have been left frustrated with his fortunes at the 15-time European champions, with Courtois considered Carlo Ancelotti's undisputed No. 1 in goal.
While no fee has yet been mentioned, it is suggested that the club will "demand a premium" for Lunin, whom they signed from Zorya Luhansk in Ukraine in 2018.
