Rainer Dinkelacker might be disappointed about his most recent spell with Kaizer Chiefs, but the legendary goalkeeper coach is proud for what was achieved in the past.
Dinkelacker is one of the technical team members that have been affected by the changes taking place at Chiefs after he parted ways with the club, while others have been redeployed into other positions – the likes of Dillon Sheppard and Aubrey Mathibe.

Dinkelacker, 75, has been on his third spell with the Soweto giants, having started in 1999 to 2013, and between July 2015 and June 2016, while his most recent spell had been from July last year.
In parting ways with Dinkelacker at the end of June, Chiefs said the German mentor's departure was per the agreement between the parties.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Dinkelacker said he had fond memories about his successes with the club despite the disappointment of the past season.

"The only thing I can say, I had many great and successful years with Kaizer Chiefs and unfortunately my last year with Kaizer Chiefs was without success," he said.
"I am not involved in the way forward. You know what's going on at Chiefs (regarding the changes), for example technical team," the esteemed goalkeeper coach added.
