Chairman of newly promoted side Magesi FC, Solly Makhubela, has addressed rumours that have linked experienced player Andile Jali to his club.
Surprisingly, former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder Jali has been linked to the DStv Premiership rookies, with his agent recently confirming that the 34-year-old will not be bringing an end to his career.

The Siya crew understands that Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu are the clubs that have shown an interest in Jali, with Magesi ruling themselves out of trying to sign the midfielder, especially because they do not have the budget.
"Media is media, you know my brother. Sometimes, when I see it and look at it, I just see these things on social media. You get a lot of things that I don't know and my coach does not know it. I don't know where they get it," Makhubela said to the Siya crew.
"I don't think it would make sense for us (to sign Jali). I don't think with the budget that we have, the technical team would go for that. I don't think so."
Jali has been without a club since leaving Moroka Swallows a few months ago, after players went on strike for alleged monies owed to them by the club.

It's understood that the player is working hard to ensure he is ready for the start of the 2024/25 campaign and an announcement will be made on where he plays next, with the possibility of entering into his final playing contract.
