Jose Mourinho has reportedly reached an agreement to join a new club ahead of the 2024/25 season following his dismissal at Roma earlier this year.

According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Portuguese tactician is close to becoming Fenerbahce's new manager.

The two-time UEFA Champions League-winning boss is believed to have agreed a two-year contract with the Turkish giants.
Mourinho, 61, has been unemployed since being fired by Roma in Italy in January.
The legendary coach was linked with Fenerbahce earlier this month after presidential candidate Aziz Yildirim said he met face to face with Mourinho to discuss his potential appointment.

Reports claim negotiations were held by Mourinho's agent, believed to be Jorge Mendes, and Fenerbahce sporting director Mario Branco, who is also Portuguese.
