According to a report by French publication Le Parisien, PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi scheduled a face-to-face meeting with the 25-year-old hours prior to their final home game of the season this past weekend.
It is claimed the Qatari businessman took issue with Mbappe's announcement video, which was released in the build-up to the team's match against Toulouse, in which he revealed he would be leaving the club at the end of this season.
Al-Khelaifi was believed to be aggrieved the France captain did not mention him in his video, after he helped make Mbappe the highest-paid player in Europe in 2022.
The outlet claims the discussion between Mbappe and Al-Khelaifi turned into an argument, with the source saying the "walls shook" during the heated interaction.
Furthermore, it is said the club's all-time record goalscorer and the president have not been on speaking terms since February, when the striker informed him of his decision to run his deal in Paris down.
