On the weekend, the 25-year-old announced in a video released on social media that he would be bidding farewell to the French giants at the end of the season when his contract in Paris expires.
Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Real, and it is thought he will finally put pen to paper on a deal with the LALIGA champions ahead of the upcoming 2024 UEFA European Championship.
Reports suggest that the outgoing French forward has accepted he will need to take a significant pay cut to join Los Blancos, having been the highest-paid footballer in Europe since extending his stay at PSG in 2022.

According to Sky Sports, Mbappe will go from earning an estimated €75 million (R1.4 billion) annually in France to a yearly wage of €15 million (R297.6 million) in Spain, which will see him be brought in line with the LALIGA club's other top earners.
It is said PSG's all-time record goalscorer is happy to accept these terms ahead of the reported €150 million (R2.9 billion) signing-on bonus he will receive from Real.
