The story
It's no secret that Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana defender Grant Kekana is a huge hip-hop fan and reminded his supporters why SA hip-hop is far from dead.
With the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar rap beef capturing the attention of the global hip-hop fraternity, the genre has gone under radar in Mzansi recently with the constant rise of Amapiano, with only a handful of acts threatening to break the yanos' stranglehold on SA's music lovers.
Kekana, who is friends with award-winning SA hip-hop producer, Zoocci Coke Dope, took to Instagram to share a video of his enjoying rapper K.O's new hit with Maglera Doe Boy titled "Let me cook."
According Slikour On Life, K.O dropped the highly anticipated single with Maglera today after sharing a teaser for a music video last weekend, with Kekana being captivated by Maglera Doe Boy's signature sound and dynamic flow switches in a masterful verse.
Kekana rapped most of Maglera's verse before enjoying the catchy hook, as the song promises to reach the highs of K.O's 2022 hit "Sete" featuring Young Stunna and Blvckie.
