TS Galaxy striker Bernard Parker has made some predictions ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which kicks-off on Saturday in Côte d'Ivoire.
Parker, who represented Bafana at the 2013 showpiece hosted here in South Africa, backs big names like Egypt's Mohamed Salah to make a huge impact at the tournament.

Parker's AFCON predictions
Former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker is looking ahead to this month's Africa Cup of Nations, starting this Saturday with hosts Ivory Coast taking on Guinea-Bissau.
Parker answered three questions relating to the tournament with, BoyleSports, a betting company that has the TS Galaxy veteran on as an ambassador.
The 37-year-old, who is making a miraculous return after a brutal leg break in October, mentioned that Liverpool and Egypt talisman Mo Salah will be one of the tournament's top players alongside Napoli and Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen.
"My top two players that's going to rule the AFCON... You know there's a lot of top quality players, playing in top teams for the top countries here on the continent as well.
"But the two that will stand out for me is Victor Osimhen, from Napoli and Nigeria. He's been in great, great form and I know he will make a big difference for Nigeria as they're looking to win this AFCON, as well as Mohamed Salah, who's been in exceptional form for his country, both in the AFCON qualifiers and the World Cup qualifiers," says 'Die Hond.'
In terms of the AFCON's dark horses, Parker tips Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana side, led by Ronwen Williams, to be the surprise package of the tournament.
"The country that's going to surprise the world and Africa is Bafana Bafana. South Africa, I do get that feeling that they're going to do some magic in this tournament. What I've seen over the qualifiers, from both the AFCON and World Cup, is that they've grown stronger. With strength, I believe they are going to surprise everybody in this tournament," says Parker.
The tournament concludes on 11 February and Parker predicts the Osimhen's Super Eagles to meet Salah's Pharaohs in the final to battle it out over the ultimate African crown.
