In a report by the Daily Mail, the Portuguese tactician is widely expected to leave Roma at the end of the season when his deal in Italy expires.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims there are no conversations taking place behind the scenes over a potential renewal, with Saudi Arabia tipped as a likely next destination for the 60-year-old.
Al Hilal and Al Nassr were linked with Mourinho earlier this year until he decided to see out the final year of his contract in Serie A, but it appears he could still be heading to the Middle East in the future.
The former Chelsea coach recently said he is certain he will one day work in the Saudi Pro League, with the report claiming an unnamed club in the country is working on a two-year offer for him worth £104 million.
Should Mourinho accept this proposal, Mourinho would comfortably become the highest-paid manager in football, a title Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone currently holds.
