According to the Daily Star, the ex-Borussia Dortmund winger will look to leave the Red Devils when the transfer window reopens in January following discussions with his manager.
It is claimed Sancho and the Dutchman were unable to find common ground during talks on Monday after they recently had a public fallout.
Explaining Sancho's absence from United's matchday squad to take on Arsenal in the Premier League before the international break, Ten Hag suggested the forward had not been training well enough in the build-up to the game.
The player then lashed out at the ex-Ajax Amsterdam boss on social media, releasing a statement in which he urged his followers to not "believe everything they read".
Sancho also bemoaned being made a "scapegoat" in the post, which is still pinned to his profile on X (formerly Twitter).
