Mntambo buys vintage Shoes Bafana jersey
21 April this year marked eight years since Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend John "Shoes" Moshoeu passed away, aged 49.
The South African football world remembers the fallen midfielder, who sadly passed from stomach cancer, for not only being a wicked dribbler but for also being a true inspiration to many.
Mntambo purchased the famous 1996 home Bafana Bafana jersey by Kappa, worn at the African Cup of Nations, personalised with Shoes' name and number 10.
The 34-year-old thanked @vintage_kitman for sourcing the jersey for him and wrote in remembrance of Shoes:
"May your soul continue to rest in peace legend."
